Dr. Benjamin M. Stoebner  OD, FAAO

Dr. Stoebner spent his undergraduate studies at University of San Diego, where he played football and completed his bachelor’s degree in biology. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University’s College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR. He went on to complete a two year fellowship at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Chehalis, WA, one of the premier eye surgery facilities in the world.

 

Dr. Stoebner is a Diplomat of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and was voted the “Young Doctor of the Year” by the Washington Association of Optometric Physicians in 2001.

 

Prior to joining Edmonds Eyecare in 2007, Dr. Stoebner was one of the Optometric Physicians at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute, practiced at Family Eye Doctors in Redmond, WA and was also an FDA co-investigator for the Scanning Excimer Laser Technology LASIK Study.

 

Dr. Stoebner, his wife, Carolyn, and their son enjoy reading, snowboarding, computer technology, music and participating in a variety of sports together.

Dr. Owen received his doctoral degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University, College of Optometry. He has completed advanced certification and training in medical treatment of eye disease.

 

Dr. Owen serves on the Washington State Board of Optometry to protect the public and support doctor licensure & education, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is an adjunct assistant clinical professor at the Oklahoma College of Optometry, where he teaches doctors in training and provides eye care for citizens of the Cherokee Nation.

 

Dr. Owen and his wife, Heather, co-founded eye care services for Puget Sound Christian Clinics in 2014, where monthly eye care is provided at no cost to new immigrants, uninsured &  underinsured as well as financially limited individuals. In addition, Dr. Owen is a national InfantSee doctor, where free eye assessments are provided for 6-12 month old infants to detect early vision & eye problems.

 

Dr. Owen joined Edmonds Eyecare in 1992 after practicing at St. John’s Institute in Tulsa, OK as well as Pacific Medical Centers and Northwest Eye Center in Seattle, WA. He is passionate about professional & civic organizations, his faith, and spending time with his family and enjoys skiing, hiking and traveling.

Glen R. Owen  OD, FAAO
Bryan S. Karrick  OD, FAAO

Dr. Karrick spent his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, receiving two bachelor degrees, and went on to receive his doctoral degree from Michigan College of Optometry. Dr. Karrick has completed advanced certification and training in medical treatment of eye disease.

 

Dr. Karrick completed his graduate experiences at Commonwealth Eye Services in Lexington, KY, specializing in the treatment of ocular disease, as well as at Carl Albert Indian Hospital in Ada, OK, where he specialized in diabetic eye care.

 

Dr. Karrick is certified by the American Board of Optometry, a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry, as well as a past adjunct clinical professor for Pacific University College of Optometry.

 

Prior to residing in the Northwest, Dr. Karrick practiced at Kirk Eye Center in Chicago, IL. He developed a successful practice in North Bend, WA upon moving west before joining Edmonds Eyecare in 2002.

 

Dr. Karrick is a retired marathon runner and triathlete. He and his wife, Kimberley, live in Edmonds, where they own and operate Scratch Distillery.

Dr. Davis received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Boston University and went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at State University in New York. Dr. Davis completed his fellowship training in glaucoma & cataract surgery at Beth Israel medical Center as well as a fellowship in cornea at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.

 

Dr. Davis joined Edmonds Eyecare in 1994 and has provided surgical services for the practice since. He is the inventor of ophthalmic devices and surgical instruments used around the world and his special interests are medical & surgical treatment of cataract, cornea and glaucoma.

 

Dr. Davis, his wife, Lilly, and their two children enjoy spending time together and traveling whenever possible.
