Glen R. Owen, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Prior to joining the staff at Edmonds Eyecare, Dr. Owen practiced at St. John's Eye Institute in Tulsa, OK; Pacific Medical Centers in Seattle and Northwest Eye Center in Seattle.
Dr. Owen received his doctoral degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University College of Optometry in 1985. Dr. Owen's doctorate thesis was "Ocular Complications of Systemic Lupus Erythematous" was based on his Lupus Foundation of America funded research study on the same subject. Dr. Owen has completed advanced certification and training in medical treatment of eye disease.
He is on staff at Valley General Hospital in Monroe, WA and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. He has served on the medical advisory board for the Arthritis Foundation in Tulsa and as a clinical instructor for post-graduate continuing education. He serves as an adjunct clinical professor for Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Owen lectures to eye doctors on advanced medical technologies and treatments for eye disease.
Dr. Owen joined Edmonds Eyecare in 1992. He and his family live in Edmonds, where his wife Heather had grown up. His interests and hobbies are family; religious, professional and civic organizations; snow skiing, hiking, and travel.
Bryan S. Karrick, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Prior to residing in the Northwest, Dr. Karrick practiced at Kirk Eye Center in Chicago, IL. He developed a successful practice in North Bend, WA before joining Edmonds Eyecare Associates.
Dr. Karrick received his doctoral degree from Michigan College of Optometry in 1992. He spent his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and has received two Bachelor degrees. Dr. Karrick has completed advanced certification and training in medical treatment of eye disease.
Dr. Karrick completed his graduate experiences at Commonwealth Eye Services in Lexington, KY, specializing in the treatment of ocular disease; and at Carl Albert Indian Hospital in Ada, OK specializing in diabetic eye care.
He is on staff at Valley General Hospital in Monroe, WA and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Karrick serves as an adjunct clinical professor for Pacific University College of Optometry.
Dr. Karrick joined Edmonds Eyecare in 2002. He and his wife, Kimberley, live in Edmonds. He is a retired marathon runner and triathlete. Dr. Karrick and his wife enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, and hiking.
Dr. Benjamin M. Stoebner, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Stoebner attended the University of San Diego where he played football for the Toreros and completed his bachelor's degree in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1993 from Pacific University's College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. He completed an externship at American Lake Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Stoebner also completed his residency in Optometry in 1994 at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center in San Francisco, California. He then went on to complete a two year Fellowship at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Chehalis, Washington, which is one of the premier eye surgery facilities in the world.
Dr. Stoebner is a Diplomat of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He has professional memberships in the American Optometric Association and the Washington Association of Optometric Physicians who voted him "Young Doctor of Optometry of the Year" in 2001. He served as an Adjunct Professor for Pacific University College of Optometry from 1996-2004. He was one of the Optometric Physicians on Staff at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute from 1996-2004. After which he was on staff at the Family Eye Doctors in Redmond, Washington until joining Edmonds Eyecare Associates in 2007. He has a special interest in ophthalmic laser technology and he was an FDA co-investigator for the Scanning Excimer Laser Technology LASIK Study from 1998 to 2000.
Dr. Stoebner joined Edmonds Eyecare Associates in January of 2007. He and his wife Carolyn have a young son and together they enjoy reading, snowboarding, computer technology, music, and a variety of athletics.
Dr. Andrew P. Davis, MD
Dr. Davis joined Edmonds Eyecare Associates in 1994 to provide surgical services for the practice. Dr. Davis received his B.S. and M.D. from Boston University in 1978. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at State University of New York in 1987. Dr. Davis also completed his fellowship training in Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in 1988, and a Fellowship in Cornea at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in 1988.
Dr. Davis’ special interests are in medical and surgical treatment of cataract, cornea, and glaucoma. Dr. Davis, and his wife Lilly, have two very active children to keep them busy. They also enjoy travel whenever possible.
