Company History

Edmonds Eyecare Associates was founded in 1991 by Joseph DeVita, OD, FAAO of Lynnwood and Michael Medin, OD of Edmonds.  Drs. DeVita and Medin merged their independent family eye care practices, moving them into the new Edmonds Professional Center on 212th Street SW near Stevens Memorial Hospital.

Glen R. Owen, OD, FAAO joined Edmonds Eyecare Associates in 1992, adding medical eye services.   Andrew P. Davis, MD joined the clinic in 1994, adding surgical services.

Bryan S. Karrick, OD, FAAO joined the clinic as a part time associate in 1997 and as a full time partner in 2002, expanding medical eye services further.

In-clinic glaucoma laser procedure services were added in 2004, providing convenience for our glaucoma patients.

In January 2007 Edmonds Eyecare proudly welcomed Benjamin M. Stoebner, OD, FAAO, a well respected doctor who has practiced in the Northwest for 10 years, as a full time partner.
